Marketing & Events Manager

Summary: The Marketing and Events Manager at Bridgewater Falls will be responsible for planning and implementing events/promotions, executing marketing/advertising campaigns and budgeting for a power center, Bridgewater Falls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Events/Promotions:Plan at least one event/promotion a month Research potential events to drive traffic and sales for the tenantsContact outside vendors for bids and negotiate service contractsSeek out participation from tenants and other sponsors for participationBe the on-site contact for events (available to work nights and weekends)Collaborate with Property Manager and Maintenance Team setup and tear down  

Marketing/Advertising Campaigns: Work with the corporate Director of Marketing to plan monthly campaigns around proposed events/promotions or general brandingHandle all media buying including print, outdoor, digital, video and radioCommunicate with graphic designers the needs for print ads, digital ads and property signageUpdate facebook, website and email newsletter content Budget: Allocate the annual budget per monthly campaignsTrack all spending of marketing dollarsGenerate purchase orders to process invoices   

Education and/or Experience Required skills/experience: 2-3 years professional experience in event planning. Excellent writing, proofreading and communications skills. Proficiency in use of social media and managing digital content. Strong skills in all Microsoft Office apps. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, PR or related field.Preferred additional experience:Media-buying,Shopping center or retail work.Copywriting for print ads, radio scripts, etc. Basic skills in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator. Graphic design training
